Cotter Schools campus is made up of five buildings and 15 acres of athletic fields in the west end of Winona MN.
St Teresa Hall is the main administrative and academic building. It contains offices and meeting rooms on the first floor, a Media Center, computer labs, and band room on the second floor and classrooms on the third and fourth floors. St Teresa Hall is physically connected to St Cecilia Hall which contains our theater and music rehearsal rooms.
Roger Bacon Hall connects to St Teresa via a skyway. It contains our junior high classrooms and media center as well as math and science classrooms for the high school students.
The John Nett Recreation Center sits on two full city blocks and contains the Gostomski Family Gymnasium and the RJ Rivers Fitness Center which are the main athletic facilities for Cotter students and athletic programs. The Cotter athletic offices are located here along with a new student center which opened during the 2014/15 school year. The Centennial Gymnasium will open in October 2015 and provide practice and game space for Cotter athletics. This building also contains the Winona Tennis Center which includes six indoor tennis courts. The tennis center is leased to and operated by the Winona Area Tennis Association.
Two blocks west is Loretto Hall which is the residence hall for Cotter’s boarding students. It also contains the main lunch room for the school.
East of Loretto Hall is Cotter Fields, home to Cotter baseball, softball, tennis and soccer teams as well as practice fields used by Cotter football and track as well as the Winona community. Other teams using Cotter Fields are Winona Youth Soccer, YMCA soccer, Winona Buddies Baseball, Morrie Miller Youth Football and Baseball, Winstars Youth Softball, and others at various times.
