This past year has been a challenging year for all of us. At Cotter Schools, we have learned to adjust and pivot quickly, but some things can't happen yet. Unfortunately, we are still unable to host the traditional Cotter Auction – a 40-year treasured, fun, fundraising event. The funds raised at our Auctions have allowed us to provide essential programming and resources to meet the changing needs of our students. Although we still cannot gather in-person and share an evening of fun and friendship, we need your support as much as any previous year!
Our experience during Covid has taught us how invaluable and essential it is to have a reliable and robust technology infrastructure that can meet the demands for both online learning and in-person learning. As our new classroom building nears completion, we come to YOU with our need to furnish the classrooms with updated projectors, smart boards, computers, and monitors. We also need to purchase a new server that can meet the growing list of technology needs. Will you help us?
A special feature of the Auction, where I personally ask for your help, is our "Fund-a-Need" paddle raise. Over the years you have generously furnished desks, computers, and fulfilled special teacher projects, etc. This year, I am asking you to raise your virtual paddle to support the 2021 Fund-A-Need: Online Technology Resources. Several generous benefactors have already agreed to match the first $25,000 we raise. Help me get to that goal and beyond! Let's try to reach our $100,000 goal.
