This morning, Laken Macal and Wil Modjeski signed their Letters of Intent to compete in collegiate athletics next year.
Laken, a 6'3" tightend/linebacker, signed his Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Wisconsin-Stout next season. UW-Stout, a DIII college and member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), is located in Menomonie, WI. Besides football, Laken was drawn to UW-Stout for its polytechnic program and the local fishing hot spots. He loves to fish and plans to major in engineering. It was a perfect fit! Good luck, Laken!
Wil, our AAA award winner and a track and cross country runner, signed his Letter of Intent to run track at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota. USF is a DII university and member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Will was drawn to USF for the location, programs, and the chance to run at the collegiate level. He plans to major in Business Administration which is offered as a "3+1" at USF. That means he can complete his undergraduate degree and his Masters of Business Administration in four years. Good luck, Wil!
We are so proud of these two young men and wish them the best as they start their next chapters in the fall.
