Cotter Grad Makes Masks During Crisis

We're always happy to hear how our alumni are faring after they leave us, but hearing how they step up during times of need makes us especially proud.

Lingxi (Charlotte) Hu '09, now known as Rene Song, opened a mask factory in China and has been making masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her company is vital during this time when masks have become a necessity.

Rene sent over 80 boxes (50 per box=4000+ masks) of protective masks to Cotter for our use and distribution. After being held up in Hong Kong for a brief time, the masks were eventually distributed at the Cotter dorm and Main Square Montessori with the majority being given to St. Anne's/Calista Court and Sauer Healthcare. These places were very happy to get them.

Thank you, Rene! Keep up the great work!
