Recruiting Visit to Okinawa, Japan

Recently, Erik Christenson '00, who works at Cotter in alumni relations and international recruitment, visited the Okinawa Shogaku “Okisho” High School in Okinawa, Japan.

Mr. Christenson met with Dr. Nashiro, the Vice-Chairman of the school, and Charlie Uza, the head of the international exchange programs.

Dr. Nashiro has a unique connection to WInona as he received he’s education doctorate from St. Mary’s University and taught at St. John’s University. Dr. Nashiro opened the Okisho school in 1982. 

As part of his visit, Mr. Christenson gave a presentation about Cotter Schools to 450 9th grade students.
