Continuous Enrollment

Cotter Schools uses the continuous enrollment which means the first time you enroll at Cotter, your family agrees to continue enrollment for their entire academic career. As a reminder, this is the contract your family signed as far as continuous enrollment:

CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT CONTRACT

I hereby opt into continuous enrollment at Cotter Schools as the enrollment responsible parent for my child(ren). This means that my child(ren) will automatically be enrolled each school year unless I tell the school otherwise. If I do not intend to enroll my child(ren) for the upcoming school year, I understand I need to notify Cotter Schools by March 31. The signed permissions I completed through online enrollment (OE) and the tuition payment plan I choose through FACTS will automatically apply each year my child is continuously enrolled at Cotter Schools. I have the right to contact the school at any time to inquire about or change these signed permissions and my FACTS tuition payment plan. I understand the Cotter Schools Tuition Refund Policy as stated in the online enrollment packet I completed.

If I breach this contract by dis-enrolling my child(ren) after March 31, I agree to pay the re-enrollment fee and ten percent of tuition since the school hired staff and scheduled classes in reliance on this agreement; however, I will not be required to pay these charges if my child(ren) is/are dis-enrolled for one of the following reasons:

1.Moving/relocating 25+ miles away from Winona, Minnesota.
2.Your child’s educational needs can no longer be met and/or your child is not meeting Cotter’s academic requirements as determined by school administration.
3.I and/or another person responsible for tuition completed FACTS Tuition & Grant Assessment by the required deadlines and have determined the amount is not sufficient to enroll my child(ren) for the next school year.

Current Boarding Students

Boarding students need to pay a deposit and fee of $2,100 to secure your place for 2019-2020. You are allowed to use a credit card for this in the finance office. Otherwise your parents can send it via wire transfer. The remainder of tuition is due by August 1. If your family wants to pay the entire tuition now (instead of two payments), please contact Mrs. Mandi Olson.

$2,100 deposit and fee is due by April 15, 2019

Current Day Students

You are all set and enrolled for next year! Last year you opted into continuous enrollment which means your automatically enrolled at Cotter for 2019-2020. Your current tuition payment plan will automatically renew as well. If do not plan to enroll for 2019-2020 school year you need to inform us by March 31, 2019. 

If you need financial aid, you must re-apply for aid by April 15. Financial aid is limited, so please submit your request early. FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment Application

If you need to change your payment plan. Login to FACTS to update it. If you have questions about FACTS or Grant Aid email Pam Kimber or call 507.453.5000  x5012.

If you have updates to your family status or address, please submit those directly to Linda Schrupp at 507-453-5016.

WACS 6th graders enrolling to cotter in 7th grade

Welcome! We are excited you are joining our school. We use FACTS SIS ParentsWeb for enrollment. FACTS SIS ParentsWeb is a secure site which provides parents the ability to view your student’s grades, homework assignments, attendance and report cards. Please, complete your enrollment by March 15, 2019.

DIRECTIONS:
*If you currently have another student enrolled at Cotter - skip to Step 2*

STEP 1: Create a Parents Web Login

  1. Please go to ParentsWeb
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click the Create New ParentsWeb Account button.
  4. You will receive an email from FACTS SIS Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes the link will remain active for 6 hours.
  5. Please click on the link. A Change/Create Password screen will open. You may use the default username provided, or create a new username. Then type in your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.
  6. Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.
  7. Close the window.
  8. Now you are able to log into ParentsWeb

STEP 2: Congratulations on creating your account! The next steps are:

  1. Please go to the ParentsWeb
  2. After creating an account, type in your username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the link provided.
  3. Click on the APPLY/ENROLL button on the left
  4. Click on ENROLLMENT/REENROLLMENT.
  5. Click on the "Click Here to Open Online Enrollment"
  6. Your child’s name should appear in the middle of the screen. Choose the appropriate packet (day or boarding). If your child’s name does not appear, please contact our admissions office.

You have completed enrollment for your child!

Step 3: Optional if seeking affordability grants. Complete FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment Application. The due date is April 15, 2019. Aid is limited, so please apply early. Awards will be given out in May.
