National Catholic Schools Week 2019

"Jesus said, "Blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear. I say to you, many people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it."

(Matthew 13: 16-17)

This week, we join in the celebration of the gift of Catholic Schools!  We are fortunate to have access to and be recipients of the great gift of Catholic education in the Winona area. We celebrate the call to Learn, Serve, Lead, and Succeed.

We are blessed - our students are blessed - by what we hear and see every day in our school. It is our prayer that every student hears that he/she is loved. It is our hope that every student sees goodness in others' actions throughout our school, and then, is inspired to do the same. For "in the Catholic school, subjects [and experiences] do not present only knowledge to be attained but also values to be acquired and truths to be discovered" (The Catholic School on the Threshold of the Third Millenium).

Let's celebrate Catholic Schools!

St. Joseph, patron of Cotter Schools - pray for us.

Live, Jesus, in our hearts - forever.

Blessings on your day!

faith, service, and community as we encourage and support our students

to become more than they can imagine.
