Office of Mission

March 4, 2019

There is always much to celebrate at Cotter Schools! This week, we invite all to participate in special activities that recognize and celebrate the great gift of international diversity within our school community. We give thanks for the young people who come to us from around the world. They bless our community in a multitude of ways - teaching and encouraging each of us to become better global citizens in support of each other.

In addition, Lent begins this week. During these next six weeks before Easter, the Church invites us in a special way to grow in our ability to recognize the presence of God in our lives and in one another. Through activities centered on prayer, fasting, and giving, our school will journey together in this effort of answering the invitation from God: "Come back to me, with all your heart."   (Joel 2:12)

Loving God, come and journey with us this Lent.

Be our guide as we travel. Help us to follow in your ways and stay the course on your pathway. May you be the wind at our backs as we journey forward. AMEN.

St. Joseph, patron of Cotter Schools - pray for us.

Live, Jesus, in our hearts - forever.

Blessings on your day!
