Office of Mission

March 11, 2019

Spring break is upon us just as Lent begins. The word "Lent" is a shortening of the word lengthen. We notice the lengthening of daylight hours at this time of year. Lent can be a time of spiritual spring cleaning - re-committing to efforts at cleaning out the clutter that has accumulated in our lives so to make room for God and one another.

Loving God, come and journey with us this Lent.

Be our guide as we travel.

Help us to follow in your ways and

stay the course on your pathway.

May you be the wind at our backs

as we journey forward.

Loving God, bless our efforts at following you more closely during these Lenten days and always!

St. Joseph, patron of Cotter Schools - pray for us.

Live, Jesus, in our hearts - forever.

Blessings on your day!
