"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness."
(Isaiah 41:10)
This week, Pope Francis reminded the world of the Gospel story of the disciples in a boat with Jesus when a violent storm came upon the sea. Jesus commanded them to "not be afraid for I am with you." Like the disciples, we are all rowing together in this boat of anxiety and uncertainty that afflicts our world. We are in this together - and God is present with us.
Listen to this week's mission message from Sister Judy Schaefer, President of Cotter Schools:
Message from Sister Judy
And join with us in prayer this day ...
God, we thank you for this new day,
for our family and friends whom we love,
and for the gift of life itself.
Help us to use this day
to become persons of respect, integrity,
and compassion. Help us to remember that we are Your presence in the world.
Give us the strength to serve You
in all we do and say today. Amen
St. Joseph, patron of Cotter Schools - pray for us.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts - forever.
Blessings on your day!
