Christina Nitti

Christina has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2006, having received a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Frontier Nursing University and her undergraduate degree in nursing from the College of St. Benedict.  She has worked in a variety of areas including family practice, occupational health, college health, urgent care, telehealth and teaching in an undergraduate nursing program.  Having lived several years in Central America she is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with diverse populations. She is an oblate of Saint Benedict’s Monastery in St. Joseph, MN.

As a Winona native, Christina has strong ties to Cotter.  She is the daughter of Don Nitti, a long-time Cotter math teacher and is a Cotter graduate, as are her 4 siblings, multiple nieces and nephews and her daughter Alessia.  She and her husband Jose (Pepe) enjoy traveling, biking and spending time with family and friends.
