Academic Advising

The Cotter Schools Academic Advising Office seeks to assist students in their development and preparation for life after Cotter Schools. We offer a comprehensive program to support our students and their needs. Along with the students, we involve parents, teachers, and administrators in collaboration to support the specific needs of each student. We believe all students can succeed, and we work to support all students as they strive to reach their full potential.

Members of the Academic Advising Office follow each student's academic progress, develop a 4-year plan for each student’s time at Cotter, make sure students have the required courses for graduation, provide help with course selection, provide assistance with college planning and college applications, and assist in career exploration and guidance.

Scholarships

Graduating seniors are encouraged to apply for multiple scholarships that become available every year. The Academic and Guidance Counseling Center will provide an ongoing list of scholarships available – as well as work with each student to identify which scholarship resources best match their interests and needs.
