School-Based Health Clinic
Cotter Schools is pleased to partner with Winona Health to bring healthcare services directly to students through the Winona Health School-Based Clinic located on the Cotter Campus. The clinic, located on the second floor of the John Nett Recreation Center, provides convenient access to medical and counseling services in a familiar and trusted environment. All appointments, with or without a parent or guardian present, should enter through the main John Nett entrance on Vila Street.
The Winona Health School-Based Clinic offers a variety of healthcare services, including:
- Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
- Wellness visits and preventive care
- Sports physicals
- Immunizations
- Health education and support

Scheduling an Appointment
Medical appointments can be scheduled by:

- Scheduling through the My Winona Health patient portal
*The first clinic appointment day for the school year will be Wednesday, August 12, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a convenient opportunity for sports physicals, back-to-school appointments, and last-minute summer healthcare needs before classes begin.
Care available includes: wellness exams, sports physicals, immunizations, medication follow-up, anxiety & depression, ADHD, and acute illness/rashes
Counseling Services
Counseling services will also be available through Winona Health. Two Winona Health counselors will serve Cotter students:
- One Winona Health counselor dedicated to students in Kindergarten through Grade 5
- One Winona Health counselor dedicated to students in Grades 6-12
Each counselor will be on campus one full day per week, providing two days of counseling appointments at Cotter each week. The specific counseling schedule will be announced soon.
