Cotter Connect Academy
Cotter Connect Academy (CCA) is program for international students to help the transition into American high school life while building confidence in their English language speaking skills. We ensure students feel comfortable in their new home through this program!
CCA is held three weeks before school begins in August on the Cotter Campus with new and returning international students. In the morning, we have class time to learn about studying at Cotter Schools and class expectations. Afternoon activities offer students the opportunity to practice speaking English and explore our community. International students will also meet and get to know their American classmates through our Conversation Partner program incorporated into CCA.

Sample CCA Schedule
- 8 - 8:30 a.m. — Breakfast
- 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. — ESL Class
- 12:15 - 1 p.m. — Lunch & Downtime
- 1 - 4 p.m. — Afternoon activities include exploring and learning the local area, team building activities and fun new adventures!
- 4 - 6 p.m. — Downtime & dorm activities. Dorm staff are a resource for our students to get set up comfortably in their new home.
- 6 - 7 p.m. — Dinner
- 7 - 10 p.m. — Free time, dorm activities, fun!
