step 1: go to your parent portal

- Enter your username and password
- Login
- District Code: CS-MN
step 2: complete application for your new student
- Click Apply/Enroll
- Click Application
- Click Here to Open Application
- Create a new student application
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- You will need to complete this step for each new child you are enrolling
step 3: check your email for enrollment information
- You will receive an email from Cotter Schools with enrollment information
- Click the link in your email
- Click Apply/Enroll
- Click Enrollment/Re-enrollment
- Click Here to Open Online Enrollment
- Complete & submit enrollment forms
step 4: you will not need to set up a tuition plan
- Select Skip Payment Plan

- Enter your email address and create log in information
- Click Create an Account
STEP 2: verify your account
- You'll find an email from FACTS Family Portal which is active for six hours
- Click on the link to verify your account
STEP 3: create new student application
- Click Create a New Student Application
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- You will need to complete this step for each new child you are enrolling
STEP 4: complete enrollment information
- You will receive an email from Cotter Schools with enrollment information
- Click the link in your email
- Click Apply/Enroll
- Click Enrollment/Re-enrollment
- Click Here to Open Online Enrollment
- Verify and review the information
- Complete tuition plan
- If you are enrolling more than 1 student - create a tuition account for your oldest child
- Select Skip Payment Plan for your younger children's enrollment. We will automatically add them to your older child's account.

Continuous Enrollment
Congratulations! Based on our continuous enrollment practice current families with a student in Grades K-11 are automatically enrolled at Cotter for 2024-2025. Your current tuition payment plan will automatically renew as well.
- The financial aid application will open on January 26 and the priority deadline is March 8. Financial aid is limited, so please submit your request early. FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment Application. Financial aid awards will be announced on April 2, 2024.
- If you need to change your tuition payment plan email Kristin Kelly in the business office.
- You will need to complete a brief re-enrollment update between January 26 and April 15. You will receive an email message when that form is ready.
- If you do not plan to enroll for the 2024-2025 school year please call the admission office at (507)453-5016 or email admissions@cotterschools.org by April 15, 2024.
Main Square Montessori
Main Square Montessori: 16 months - age 6Because space at Main Square Montessori is limited, applying for enrollment does not guarantee placement in the program. Siblings of current students will receive the first preference of any opening in the school. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings in an individual family, but this may not be possible due to caps on class sizes. If there are more students who apply than we have spots, enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis.
STEP 1: APPLY ONLINE
- Fill out an online application
- Families who would like to request a paper copy of the application may contact the director at 507-474-6246.
STEP 2: SOMEONE FROM MSM WILL CONTACT YOU
- Someone from Cotter admissions or MSM will reach out and schedule time for a phone conversation. This is an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the school.
STEP 3: PLACEMENT OR WAITLIST
- You will be invited to fill out a re-enrollment packet and pay a $35.00 fee. This will ensure your place in the program or on the waitlist.
