Catholic Schools Week 2021

We have many fun and exciting events planned for Catholic Schools Week

Throughout the week:

  • Participate in the 5th-8th grade food collection "Mac-n-cheese for those in need."
  • Check us out on Facebook to hear what our students are saying about our Teachers and Staff.
  • Listen for students & staff on the radio talking about Cotter on KG 95.3FM and The River 101.1FM.

Sunday, January 31:

  • Families are encouraged to attend Mass together at your local parish. 
  • Take time to read a letter from Sister Judy in local Catholic Church bulletins. 
  • Cotter Band Lasagna Dinner. 

Monday, February 1:

  • Dress up in Cotter T-shirts and Sweatshirts!
  • A shared prayer experience takes place in Religion classes. 
  • "Throw Kindness like Confetti" challenge begins today and runs through February 25. Fill out this google form when you've completed a challenge.
  • Junior High Olympics begin.

Tuesday, February 2:

  • Dress up in Cotter T-shirts and Sweatshirts!
  • A Shared prayer video and discussion takes place in  Religion/flex classes.
  • Students compete in a Kahoot: "How well do you know your Cotter teachers?" in Religion/homeroom classes. 
  • Cheer on the Boys Home Basketball Game and Girls Away Basketball Games via livestream.

Wednesday, February 3:

  • Dress up in Cotter T-shirts and Sweatshirts!
  • Pre-recorded CSW Mass is available for viewing. 
  • All students watch & reflect on Bishop Quinn's Homily for Religion classes at home today. 

Thursday, February 4:

  • Dress up in Cotter T-shirts and Sweatshirts!
  • 7th & 8th Graders: Wear your Olympic Team Colors today with your dress code pants.

Friday, February 5:

  • Dress up in Cotter T-shirts and Sweatshirts!
  • Junior High Olympics conclude. One pod will be crowned the Champions!
  • 5th and 6th graders will play BINGO on Zoom with Mrs. Besek in homerooms from 1-2pm.

A Winterfest celebration will take place February 22-26 when our high school students are back in person. Look for theme, dress-up days, coronation, and more information soon.
