Cotter Concert Choir Shines at "Winona Sings!" Festival

On Friday, October 4, Cotter Concert Choir members participated in the inaugural “Winona Sings!” choir festival at Winona State University. Sage Villanueva, Quin Morgensen, Alanna Johnson, Zayda King, Lindsey Hoesley, Honey Mashaw, Jackson Loomis, Hayden Engfer, Alejandro Martinez, and Ryan Yao spent the day rehearsing with students from Winona High School, Wabasha-Kellogg High School, and WSU vocal music ensembles. Under the direction of Dr. Colleen Chester and Dr. Alan Dunbar, they learned collegiate-level music. The day also included vocal solo performances by WSU students and faculty, and an introduction to WSU’s music programs for majors, minors, and ensemble participants.
