Cotter Track & Field Makes History with State True Team Berths

For the first time in program history, both the Cotter boys and girls track & field teams have qualified for the State True Team Meet, taking place this Saturday in Eden Prairie. This historic milestone reflects the depth, dedication, and talent across the entire program.

Highlights from the postseason include:

  • Clarissa Sauer set a new school record in the 100m dash with a time of 12.52 seconds.

  • The Girls 4x100m relay team—Claire Heiring, Elizabeth Gibson, Macy Donnenwerth, and Clarissa Sauer—tied the Three Rivers Conference record with a time of 50.47 seconds.

  • The Girls team earned back-to-back Conference Championships, while the Boys team claimed Conference Runners-Up, marking an outstanding performance by both squads.

Cotter's conference champions include:

Girls — 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x800m, High Jump
Boys — 100m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x100m, 4x400m, Long Jump
