Mike Costello earns Daily News Coach of the Year
This year’s Cotter boys basketball team accomplished things the program had not in more than a decade.
The Ramblers won their first playoff game since 2013, and had a winning season for the first time since 2012-13 as well, and veteran coach Mike Costello played a big role in those achievements.
For leading Cotter’s bounce back, Costello was named Winona Daily News Coach of the Year for the 2023-24 boys basketball season.
